Dull Clouded Side Repeaters Replaced

Much the same as with the LED Angel Eye Upgrade, I needed to do something with the side repeaters to roll back the years.

The Sun had taken it's toll on the plastic lens and, somewhere along the line, the driver's side clip had been broken causing the rear end to stick out from the fender.

As I found out when replacing the side repeaters on my E46 330d, buy genuine BMW or don't bother.

I jumped on RealOEM and found out the part numbers, then called BMW for a quote.

BMW came back with a rather eye watering quote of £37.18, the price of quality I suppose.

Here's that broken clip on the driver's side, not looking great...

Out with the old - whilst removed I took the time to clean and wax the area to try and stop any grim build up in future.

Holding the new next to old really showed how weathered they had become.

Not the most exciting of upgrades, but it's a simple job, with subtle but impactful results that freshen the side profile of the car nicely.
